My name is Alessandro Pierini and I am a passionated music producer, artistic director, extreme sports athlete and explorer based in Italy. I am the founder of “Medicine Music for The People”, an innovative and unique musical project with the aim to break the barriers of languages and emotions through healing music.
Deep inside of me, I feel that my musical mission is more like an inner call, and this is the main reason why I am profoundly devoted to all my commitments. My project splits in 2 main parts: - Worldwide “musical live experiences ” in festivals and any other kind of events, where I perform on more than 20 acoustic and electronic instruments - An “expeditions project” through which I travel to the most remote places of the earth with my instruments, creating unique audio visual musical content for my songs and I share them through my social medias to inspire people following their dreams.
With both projects, I travel constantly, both by plane or by my 4x4 expedition vehicle fully packed of instruments and survival gear for at least 1 week and up to 3 months depending on the expedition and distance of the destination. During all these adventures around the globe, the most important thing for me is the protection of all my gear. This is the reason why I love Max Cases. I can travel safely and with no worries at all.
Plus, I have always a videographer following me on tour and during my expeditions, carrying very expensive equipment as well, that needs to be protected efficiently. Having custom Max Cases for my monochords during my last expedition to Wadi Rum desert in Jordan, has been a huge help. I would like to tell you a bit more about my last adventure…
I planned the shooting of 3 incredible musical videos on my monochords on top of a rock in the middle of the desert on a non touristic area, in a very remote place. One night of the expedition, in full darkness of the desert, we got attacked by some local bedouins just after the shooting of a musical movie on my monochord. I had to drive very fast through the desert guided by night gps navigation to escape. I still remember that everything was unlocked in the back of the vehicle but while driving fast I was feeling “safe” as I knew that my instruments were protected in my Max cases.
Luckily, we were able to escape from the attackers and everything ( instruments and camera gear) was safe. What a crazy adventure! As I am a music lover, I care about all my instruments, so, one of the most important thing for me is that, during any trip, I have no fear of breaking any of them, and I can fully concentrate on living the adventure at its best.
I am also a seeker of existential truth and 3 years ago I started to work on a new project that I use to name as ‘’retreat project’’, which implies the creation of a magnificent location in Tuscany, my birth place, dedicated to live music sets for my worldwide fans. The beauty of Tuscany is also represented by its hills, plants and olives and nevertheless, the clime can get really humid and damage the cables and lightening system that I store in the outside fields where the shows happen. In these case, Max has a tremendous contribution at protecting all my instruments from the humidity and rain during the live shows.
This is priceless for me and I am honored to continue traveling the world with Max. Alessandro Pierini
